As a civil engineer, I have worked in three universities in the last 25 years, after initial experience in water resources in Queensland. I have spent the last 15 years promoting project-based learning in engineering at Monash, RMIT and Melbourne universities. In the last 5 years, I have worked with others to promote sustainability and transdisciplinarity in engineering.
